Acrylic, UV ink and spray paint on canvas mounted on ply (99mm x 77mm x 10mm)

A new release of small 3D paintings.

This series came about through testing materials and new forms in the studio - first intended to be studies for larger paintings, they developed into refined objects on their own. Each piece was made using pre-painted canvas mixing sheets, mounted onto laser-cut plywood panel.

The geometry of the six-sided shape, or ‘HEXA’, kept opening up new possibilities in how the paintings were viewed and created.

They can be rotated and seen from different angles, presented individually or joined and reconfigured to others in a set.
